The heart of the new model in the VL family is a very high-efficiency heat exchanger made of a plastic material that allows more than 90 percent of sensible heat to be recovered, thus leading to strong energy and economic savings.

Silent operation in the residential environment is a must, and Mitsubishi Electric knows this well. That is why an optimized profile fan is used inside the new VL-CZPVU unit to achieve maximum head with the least noise disturbance in the room.

The inverter motor of the fans, designed and manufactured directly by Mitsubishi Electric, ensures maximum output with minimum energy consumption and allows modulation from 25% up to 100% of the fan speed (inlet and exhaust). This wide range of modulation ensures simplified calibration of the unit with the distribution system.

The installation aspect can also affect ventilation noise. For this reason, the new VL-CZPVU is equipped with 3 fixing points that prevent the propagation of vibrations, a possible source of noise.

All this brings the new mechanical ventilation unit to be one of the quietest products on the market with only 15 dB (at 30% of max flow rate) achieving the highest energy efficiency class (ErP class A+) for all sizes.

The unit is equipped with analog and digital inputs to change the ventilation rate according to signals from external devices.

It is, for example, possible to change the ventilation rate in the room according to the CO2 concentration detected (CO2 sensor to be provided separately) or to raise the ventilation rate upon reaching a certain humidity value inside the rooms (humidity sensor to be provided separately) or upon activation of an external contact (turning on/off a light).

From the filtration point of view, the watchword is: flexibility. The unit is equipped with 3 housings (also easily accessible during maintenance/cleaning) that can accommodate up to 3 filters to achieve the desired level of filtration.

Among the filters available as options, it is possible to choose new filters for the removal of nitrogen oxides (NOx), a pollutant whose concentration is particularly high in large urban centers.

The unit is equipped with built-in control (which can be remote-controlled within the building if needed) and WiFi connectivity (via optional card and dedicated MelCloud APP).
