Ecodan Split systems are composed of an outdoor direct expansion unit and a hydronic module to be installed indoors, which can efficiently produce hot water for heating use up to 68°C without electrical supplements, hot water and chilled water.

The supersilenced chassis makes its operation undetectable.

High performance

Mitsubishi Electric's unique technology enables unparalleled performance. The maximum water temperature of 68°C without electrical supplements can be maintained down to -7°C.

 

Extended operating range

With the new Zubadan PUZ-SHWM and PUZ-SWM units, unparalleled operating ranges are achieved. The range for heating is extended to -25, while DHW production is guaranteed from an outdoor temperature of -25 up to +42°C. Even for summer cooling, the maximum temperature has been raised to 52°C.

Maximum energy efficiency

The new, more compact and powerful compressor of AAA outdoor units enables high SCOP values without sacrificing power. The entire series brilliantly exceeds the seasonal energy efficiency class A++* as defined by the ErP Lot 1 directive.

Reduced environmental impact, same safety

Thanks to the use of the new low-GWP refrigerant, the value of potential greenhouse gas emissions has been drastically reduced by more than 90%, while maintaining the usual excellent performance.

By virtue of the reduced refrigerant content, installation in any location is assured without providing any added devices.

 

New compressor frequency control and optimized defrost cycle

The new control logic that equips Zubadan split R32 units ensures reduced operating fluctuation by reducing frequency changes from 17 to 4 times in an hour. In this way, efficiency gains and with it compressor life.

 

Optimized defrost cycle

Conventional units perform defrost cycles even when there is no ice on the evaporator coil. The new control system that equips Ecodan and Zubadan split R32 Reversible units can more accurately detect any ice formation, delaying cycle reversal as much as possible resulting in fewer ON/OFFs and improved comfort and efficiency.

Double anti-vibration structure

Double-base structure with high-dampening rubber mounts dramatically reduces vibration noise while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Silent mode

3 levels of silent mode can be activated by the wired switch, in the case of particularly severe installation areas.

New base design

The base of AA outdoor units has been redesigned to optimize and facilitate condensate drainage. Improved defrost logic and coil layout, coupled with the new condensate drainage base, make it possible to avoid ice formation that could limit user comfort.

 

Blue fin

The blue fin treatment of the external heat exchanger improves corrosion resistance.
