New outdoor units
Mitsubishi Electric introduces new models of outdoor units, SUZ-SM71 and PUZ-SM at R32, with compact dimensions (less than one meter in height). The units are available in sizes 71 and 100 (single-phase), 100, 125 and 140 (three-phase). Thanks to the single-fan chassis, these units boast greater flexibility and less impact to the eye, during and after installation.
The size is reduced, but the length of the piping remains the same:
Maximum length: 40m (30m for sizes 71 and 100)
Maximum height difference: 30m
Automatic speed adjustment
The automatic air jet speed setting is adopted to adjust the speed automatically in order to maintain the best comfort conditions in the rooms for as long as possible.
This setting automatically adjusts the air jet, in speed, adapting to environmental conditions.

Customized airflow management allows you to create an environment with maximum comfort.
In addition to being able to select between different air jet modes (e.g., 2, 3, or 4-way), this function allows independent vertical air jets to be selected for each baffle, ensuring optimal room temperature maintenance and creating the optimal comfort conditions.
The wide-angle jet allows air to be distributed to every corner of the room.
The wide vents and grilles are designed to make corner ventilation efficient.
Single baffle management + Wide airflow
The combination of the adjustment of each individual baffle, which allows the best airflow to be managed for each type of room, with a wide air jet works to ensure optimal temperature control in all rooms. The result is a uniform and comfortable air conditioning system.

Air wave mode
The "Air Wave" is an advanced baffle control that manages the unit's air jet. The blown air is diffused from the unit horizontally and downward at regular, and delayed, intervals to ensure even room heating.

The comparison of air distribution (and temperature) approximately 20 minutes after the PLA-SM71EA (four-way cassette) is turned on. The measurement is taken at a point 1.2 meters above the floor.
