The functions that Mr.Slim Next enables on compatible machines are:
.- setting horizontal flow, thanks to the PLP-P160ELR accessory, which makes it possible to direct the flow 360° via motorized vertical and horizontal fins;
- avoid simultaneous defrosting;
- extended cooling up to 14°C; .
- The P-Series Mr. Slim units have the innovative rotation, back-up and dual-stage functions by which it is possible to maintain a constant temperature in a room, e.g. server rooms, technical rooms, etc.

The indoor units in this series of air conditioners, with a low profile and concealed in the ceiling, are the perfect answer for air conditioning requirements where there is very little ceiling installation space and external static pressure values subject to wide variations.
Energy efficiency has been optimized, electricity consumption reduced, and appliance operating costs are thus lower.
The ultra-slim indoor unit features particularly quiet operation. It is equipped with a direct expansion coil. It is suitable for ducted recessed installation. A height of only 250 mm ensures economy and installation flexibility.

In addition to the innovative quiet features already found on other Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners, the PEAD series employs a sirocco-type fan with extremely quiet operation.
Selectable static pressure
The external static pressure can be adjusted to suit the system configuration and installation conditions.
Static pressure settings can be increased to suit all duct types, having 5 steps from 35 Pa up to 150 Pa.
