The temperature sensor

3D i-see sensor can detect the ground temperature of the air-conditioned room so as to direct the airflow to the most disadvantaged areas of the room. Specifically, the baffles will move to areas with high ground temperature during cooling operation and to areas with low ground temperature during heating operation.

3D i-see

Direct or indirect flow function

The new 3D i-see Sensor system (optional) can detect the number of people in the room to be air conditioned and their exact position within the room. The user can decide, by activating the "direct/ indirect" function, whether or not to direct the airflow to the areas where the presence of people is detected. The direct/indirect function can be selected separately for each of the four baffles.

3D i-see

All 3D i-see sensor functions are possible with angular 3D i- see sensor: PAC-SE1ME-E, necessary for this function MA command [ PAR40(41)MAA ] or infrared command PAR-SL 100 A-E.

Energy saving

The use of energy-saving functions related to the use of the 3D i-see Sensor makes it possible to optimize environmental comfort while minimizing energy waste. In fact, the occupancy sensor is able to automatically reduce the power delivered in the room according to the room's occupancy index. The special ability of the new 3D i-see Sensor to determine the number of people in the room makes it particularly advantageous in all those contexts (such as public places, restaurants, commercial offices, stores, etc.) where the number of occupants can vary significantly.

The new indoor unit is equipped with the "horizontal flow" function, which allows for an air throw that laps the ceiling, thereby increasing the feeling of comfort perceived by occupants.

2, 3 or 4-way airflow selection

To meet different installation needs, three air outlet options are available: two-way, three-way, and four-way. For example, you can select the four-way scheme for an installation in the center of the room, or the three-way option in case of corner placement.

Individual settings for baffle angles

The direction of the baffles can be defined or changed by the remote control to direct air relative to objects or people in the room.

Individual settings for baffle angles

Combinations made possible by the adjustment of individual baffles make it possible to configure optimal air emission for each room to ensure even temperature distribution throughout the room. The result is pleasant and uniform conditioned air.

Adaptation to room height

The units have different modes for use with a high or low ceiling, allowing the volume of airflow to be varied to suit the height of the room. Being able to choose the optimal volume helps optimize the perception of air throughout the room.

Automatic adjustment of air speed

An automatic mode adjusts the speed of air flows to maintain a comfortable room condition at all times. With this setting, the unit can autonomously change the air speed according to the climate in the room.

Signal receiver

The unit comes standard with the PLP-6EA grid without a signal receiver. The signal receiver (PAR-SE9FA-E) is available as an angle receiver as well as the 3D i-See Sensor (PAC-SE1ME-E). The unit comes standard without remote control. All MA and ME wired controls and (if the signal receiver is installed) wireless remote controls can be adopted for control. Adoption of the new PAR-SL101A-E remote control equipped with a weekly timer, backlighting, temperature setting with 0.5°C steps, and individual control of the 4 baffles makes it possible to take advantage of all the functions of the 3D i-see Sensor (optional). The new black PLP-6EAB panel can now also be supplied as accessories. 3D i-see Sensor not included, does not have infrared signal receiver.

Compatibility with Plasma Quad Connect

The optional Plasma Quad Connect PAC-SK51FT-E filter can be installed on this unit.

Compatibilità

Simplified installation

Thanks to the temporary supports for the grid, which secure it during fixing, installation of the unit is faster and easier.

Thanks to a redesign of the structure and material of the grille, the weight has been reduced by about 20% compared with the previous model, limiting the installed load.

Installation is possible without removing the mounting screws for the control box and removable corner piece, but simply loosening them. This decreases the risks of accidentally dropping the screws themselves.
