Mitsubishi Electric Replace Technology
Mitsubishi Electric's patented replace technology system allows existing plumbing and electrical networks to be maintained during the replacement of air conditioning systems when switching from R22 to R410A refrigerant. The replace technology thus makes the required investment lower than total system replacement.

The Power of a VRF, the Elegance of a Residential Multi-Split
Thanks to the use of the LEV KIT and Branch Box (available in the 3 and 5 connection version), it is now possible to connect also to the outdoor unit of the Small Y Series in the 8 HP size the entire range of indoor units of the Residential and Commercial Series whose stylistic canons are perfectly matched in those contexts (residential facilities and hotels) where design and elegance are determining elements in the choice of indoor units.
M-NET Branch Box
The new Branch Boxes are designed to give the system the highest possible configuration flexibility.
Systems equipped entirely with CITY MULTI VRF units, systems consisting exclusively of Residential/Commercial Series indoor units, or mixed systems in which the two types of units coexist.
Branch Box (3-5 ports) - Total flexibility
With the new PUMY YBMs, thanks to the Branch Box configuration, high flexibility in system design and choice of indoor units is guaranteed. It is also possible to connect up to a maximum of three Branch boxes.
The indoor units that can be connected are Units from the Residential/ Commercial range and/or City Multi VRF Units that allow mixed systems with both types.
Note: PUMY-P250/300 YBM connection to Branch Box is only available for AtA Configuration.
Installation flexibility
The 10 and 12HP models introduce further installation flexibility by ensuring that refrigerant piping can also be connected from the rear of the unit, making these models adaptable to all application needs.
Front Flow to Vertical Flow
The Small Y High capacity has a smaller footprint than the standard CITY MULTI Y units.
