Mitsubishi Electric Replace Technology
Mitsubishi Electric's patented replace technology system allows existing plumbing and electrical networks to be maintained during the replacement of air conditioning systems when switching from R22 to R410A refrigerant. The replace technology thus makes the required investment lower than total system replacement.

Compact size
The SMALL Y COMPACT (PUMY-SP) provides the power and performance of a VRF system in residential applications with a significantly smaller footprint than before, thanks to the new single-fan design.
Easy installation and transportation
The compact chassis of the SMALL Y COMPACT (PUMY-SP) and especially its low height (less than one meter) make it suitable for installation on balconies. The low weight makes the unit easy to transport.
Top efficiency
Despite its compact size and low weight, the new SMALL Y COMPACT (PUMY-SP) is equipped with top efficiencies. This makes it possible to limit operating costs.
Super Silent Mode
The SMALL Y COMPACT (PUMY-SP) is the first model in the range to be able to operate in the new "Super Silent" mode, which provides a sound emission reduction of up to -10dB(A). It is therefore possible to install the unit even in particularly acoustically sensitive settings.
*To activate the "Super Silent" mode, the optional PAC-SC36NA-E connector is required
*System capacity is reduced if "Silent" or "Super Silent" mode is activated.
Geometric limits
The compactness of the new SMALL Y COMPACT (PUMY-SP) model does not affect the flexibility of the system, maintaining the possibility of extensive and widespread pipeline development.

Flexible connection
The new SMALL Y Compact line is equipped with front, side, rear and bottom refrigerant connections improving ease of installation.
Outdoor unit fan head
The ability to select 30 Pa as the fan head makes the choice of where to install the unit itself more flexible.
Connectivity
The SMALL Y COMPACT (PUMY-SP) single-fan units can be connected to the indoor units of the Residential and Commercial line via branch-box PAC-MK34/54. It is also possible to build mixed systems with VRF indoor units and Residential and Commercial units. Thanks to these features, the flexibility of the system is basically unlimited, serving all needs.
M-NET Branch Box
The new PAC-MK34/54 Branch Boxes are prepared for direct connection to MELANS control and supervision systems. Therefore, to connect a system consisting of Residential or Commercial Line indoor units to an M-Net centralizer, it is not necessary to provide any dedicated interface, but it will be sufficient to take advantage of the Branch Boxes and connect them to the communication bus consisting of a simple two-conductor non-polarized cable. In addition, the new Branch Boxes do not need to be prepared for condensate drainage.
