The Hydronic packaged HVRF Y, heat pump system is a hydronic solution that consists of a water production section made up of an outdoor unit of VRF Y series City Multi technology and a hydronic unit from which the water distribution is developed.

The system is based on a modular conception and is completed by the hydronic terminals of different types and sizes, regulation and dialogue with each other through the "M-Net" communication system.

All the hydronic system components mentioned above are branded Mitsubishi Electric.

HVRF Hydronic systems are VRF derived and as such bring with them the advantages of simplified design and sizing defined by Mitsubishi Electric rules.

Y HVRF systems are environmentally friendly with a significant reduction in CO2 equivalent, thanks to the 'use of R32 refrigerant gas, with low GWP.

Mitsubishi Electric starting with the HYDRONIC VRF Y range chooses R32 gas with low GWP ("Global Warming Potential") 675, about 67% less than the 2088 value of R410A gas. The benefit is in terms of a net reduction in the amount of CO2 equivalent in the environment. Adding up the benefits of 61% less refrigerant quantity and 67% less GWP , the reduction comes to 87% for CO2 released into the environment.
