Mitsubishi Electric's Advanced remote control allows you to control up to 16 indoor units.

Essential functions such as control, unit status, and weekly time scheduling are guaranteed.

It is equipped with 4 sensors (temperature, humidity, presence, and brightness) that enable the use of advanced control functions. For example, the presence sensor enables energy saving by allowing different modes to be configured based on presence/absence logic.

  • Large monochrome touchscreen LCD display with white backlight.
  • Management of 1 Group up to 16 Indoor Units.
  • Integrated Temperature, Humidity, Presence, Brightness sensors.
  • Energy-saving and comfort-maintenance SMART functions.
  • Colored LED indicator contextual to the operating status of indoor units.
  • Set-Point temperature display and setting with 0.5°C step.
  • Dual Set-Point function.
  • Internal weekly timer.
  • Me-type technology with M-Net addressing.
  • Set-Point temperature adjustment with extended range (Cool: 19-35°C; Heat: 5-28°C).
  • New functions that can be combined with AHC programmable control (M-Net PLC) for creating operation logic with general equipment

The presence sensor detects the possible absence of people in order to automatically control the indoor units to implement energy-saving strategies according to the actual human presence in the room.

The presence sensor can implement the following energy-saving functions:

  • ON/OFF of indoor units based on occupied/vacant;
  • Vent speed control;
  • Switching the indoor unit from the state of Thermo ON to the state of Thermo OFF;
  • Configuration of temperature deviation on the occupied/vacant basis.

The brightness sensor captures the light radiation inside the air-conditioned room and adjusts the brightness of the remote control screen accordingly.

A wide brightness range (1~65535 lx) is available that can be set directly from remote control by changing thresholds for brightness and darkness.

The brightness sensor is also used in low light conditions to validate the busy/vacant condition.

With the built-in temperature and humidity sensor, it is possible to increase the feeling of perceived comfort.

In fact, it is possible to change the detected temperature to an accuracy of 0.5°C, to further increase the user's feeling of control.

With the relative humidity sensor and the ability to interlock an AHC programmable control to the remote control, it is possible to manage humidity through external devices connected to the system via AHC.

The Led light status indicator allows the active functions on the remote control to be highlighted chromatically. Each color is associated with a function. You can temporarily or permanently turn off the Led indicator.

Emergency

  • An existing large room is divided into two spaces each serviced by two indoor units.

Solution

  • Thanks to the ME control, it is possible to control the two rooms separately by adding a remote control and redirecting two indoor units.

Emergency

  • You want to change the Set-Point of units according to the presence or absence of personnel within a room, with the aim of achieving energy saving and comfort

Solution

  • Thanks to the built-in occupancy sensor and the logic connected to it, it is possible to perform this operation:
    • In summer: If someone is there, the set T° = 22°C, if no one is there, the set T° = 24°C
    • In winter: If there is someone, the T° set = 21°C, if there is no one, the T° set = 19°C
