Mitsubishi Electric's innovations for Controlled Mechanical Ventilation are all about efficiency and environmental sustainability

Today, as never before, there is greater attention paid to the quality of the air one breathes indoors. Controlled Mechanical Ventilation systems, "VMC", represent the best adoptable solution to ensure the renewal of air inside one's home while offering benefits in terms of comfort and well-being to all people living inside.
In this area, Mitsubishi Electric has recently introduced several new products that meet the most stringent market demands in the residential sector and complement the VMC product offering.
The new ventilation unit with sensible heat recovery, SVL-CZPV-E, due to its compact height of only 21 cm is ideal for installation in false ceilings. The possibility of installing the unit both horizontally and vertically, as well as the presence of swiveling air connections and condensate drainage ensure the new unit's maximum installation flexibility.
Available in two sizes, 150m³/h and 250 m³/h, SVL-CZPV-E achieves the ultimate in performance, class A+ for the smaller size and class A for the larger size. Various accessories, optional, such as humidity and CO2 sensors will be available with this ventilation unit, along with filters, standard or optional, such as ISO ePM1 80% (F9) and the activated carbon filter with deodorizing function. As environmental friendliness is an integral part of Mitsubishi Electric's mission, this unit is composed of up to 99.9% recyclable elements
.The heat recovery ventilation unit is also joined by a newVMC distribution system for residential buildings that fits Mitsubishi Electric's already available ventilation units and is characterized by its ease of installation due to a reduced number of components. The system, in addition to consisting of a distribution box which serves as a manifold available in 4 models, also features a universal connector for connecting the corrugated ducts of air to the various VMC accessories. The range of corrugated ducts consists of 5 different sections, including 3 round and 2 oval, and boasts a smooth surface so as to minimize charge losses of the air inside and is composed of double-walled polyethylene that provides good pressure resistance. Finally, the white color of the inner wall of the channels makes it much easier to carry out video inspections during plant maintenance.
