Mitsubishi Electric NX2-W-G06 [-H]: the new series of hydraulic-side reversible chillers and heat pumps

The new range, dedicated to indoor spaces, is perfectly suited to the use of low-GWP refrigerant R454B thanks to its hermetic scroll compressors. Designed to meet the latest efficiency targets, thanks in part to the innovative IDV technology, NX2-W-G06 features high efficiency levels especially at part loads and ensures reliable operation under all working conditions.

NX2-W-G06 [-H] boasts a safety design unparalleled in the market, developed to make the use of A2L type refrigerant machinery in indoor environments completely safe, thanks to its specific features: standard refrigerant leak detector, new MCCB main switch, electrical panel isolated from the compressor compartment, safety valves as standard.

The new NX2-W-G6 series units show great efficiencies, especially at partial loads. Thanks to an innovative design, it was possible to combine two compressors with an intermediate exchange valve, in asymmetrical tandem, optimizing operation at low compression ratios, thus at partial loads. The results in terms of efficiency are considerable with SEER and SEPR HT values more than 15 percent higher than the previous range and SCOP values 12 percent higher.

Designed to meet all the needs of Comfort, Process, and IT Cooling applications, NX2-W-G06 [-H] units feature a wide operating range with condenser outlet temperature up to 60°C, evaporator outlet temperature from -10°C up to +25°C, and delta T up to 12K.

NX2-W-G06, in both chiller and reversible heat pump versions on the hydraulic side, can be integrated with partial recovery. With the addition of the desuperheater as a recovery exchanger downstream of the compressor, waste heat can be recovered, offering a particularly advantageous solution for applications with domestic hot water production.

The unit is highly customizable to meet the needs of any plant so, already on the price list, there are numerous options including Soft Start, KIPlink, HPC, Multi-manager, "plus" acoustic enclosure and many more.
