Mitsubishi Electric introduces MEHP-iB-G07, the new reversible, air-to-water packaged heat pumps with variable-speed compressor and R32 refrigerant.

Available in sizes that cover a range from 7 to 40 kW, Mitsubishi Electric's new products are ideal for a variety of applications, from residential to small commercial businesses.

Thanks to its wide operating limits, MEHP-iB-G07 is a viable alternative to classic gas heating systems, thus pursuing the goals of decarbonization and electrification of heating.

Functionally, the new reversible packaged heat pumps feature variable-speed twin rotary or scroll (Inverter Driven) compressors optimized for R32 refrigerant, high-efficiency EC fans, and electronic expansion valve. In addition, the unit comes standard with the integrated hydronic module that includes a pump with variable-flow EC motor, expansion tank, and flow switch; the combination allows for plug-and-play installation.

MEHP-iB-G07 adapts to a wide variety of load conditions thanks to precise temperature control, also achieved through the use of inverter technology in all its components, while ensuring high levels of energy efficiency at both full and partial loads. Its SCOP values allow it to achieve energy class A+++ (SCOP 35 °C) and A++ (SCOP 55 °C).

MEHP-iB-G07 uses the proprietary W3000+ control software, which includes specifically developed functions and algorithms suitable for every application, from residential (domestic hot water management, zone management, and many others) to commercial. Specific control functions have been developed for the units to integrate different energy sources according to availability, performance and cost of use, always favoring renewable sources. Auxiliary sources, such as boilers and electric heaters, are used to reach any building demands with low outdoor temperatures, supplementing the heat output provided by the heat pump.

In addition, the KipLink device enables local and remote monitoring function (via VPN).
