Mitsubishi Electric introduces the new MECH-iB-G07 series of chillers: efficiency and sustainability serving comfort, process and IT Cooling

Mitsubishi Electric introduces the new series of air-cooled chillers MECH-iB-G07, an innovative solution designed to deliver high and sustainable performance in multiple applications. Available in a power range of 15 kW to 40 kW, this new range of chillers is equipped with inverter-driven scroll compressors and low-GWP R32 refrigerant, ensuring a reduced environmental impact.
Thanks to its extended operating limits and the availability of numerous dedicated accessories, MECH-iB-G07 stands out for its versatility and ability to adapt to different types of installations, including mission critical applications. The adoption of full inverter technology ensures high energy efficiency, especially at part loads, contributing to a significant reduction in operating costs.
Comfort: Ideal for installation in medium-sized residential and commercial environments, MECH-iB-G07 boasts high levels of seasonal efficiency, with EER up to 3.5 and SEER up to 5.7, and options designed to optimize comfort and reduce energy consumption.
Process: Thanks to its ability to operate in extreme conditions-with water as low as -12°C and outside air as low as -20°C-and the presence of reliable components, the range is also suitable for industrial applications. Options such as dry-cooler management and a high head pump ensure high performance even in complex environments.
IT Cooling: With an extended operating range, MECH-iB-G07 is the perfect solution for cooling data centers and IT facilities. It can handle water temperatures up to 24°C and operate with outside air up to 50°C, ensuring optimal performance with components and accessories such as external dry-coolers, ATS, HPC, and thermal energy monitoring.
The MECH-iB-G07 series can be combined with units w-MEXT to create a complete, high-performance hydronic solution designed for IT Cooling applications. This integrated system is managed by the HPC software, which continuously monitors operating conditions and optimizes the operation of the entire system to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
MECH-iB-G07 was developed with a holistic approach, allowing perfect synergy between all components. Using full inverter technology, the compressor continuously adjusts to provide the exact cooling capacity required by the system, ensuring precise and continuous power control. This results in high levels of efficiency and a significant reduction in operating costs.
With the new MECH-iB-G07 series, Mitsubishi Electric once again demonstrates its commitment to offering advanced and sustainable technological solutions that meet a wide range of needs, from home comfort to precision refrigeration for Data Centers.
