The new applied ranges of Mitsubishi Electric chillers and heat pumps

Mitsubishi Electric introduces ME-series: reversible air source chillers and heat pumps with variable speed scroll compressors and low GWP R32 refrigerant, available from 50 to 220 kW.

A unique range of Mitsubishi Electric-branded chillers and heat pumps, perfectly suited to the needs of comfort, process and IT cooling applications. The quality of the entire manufacturing process, from the components to the finishing of the units, result in unparalleled reliability in the operating field underlined by warranty conditions aligned with the Mitsubishi Electric 2+1 standard, for a total coverage period of 3 years.

Ideal for comfort, process and IT Cooling

applications.

MEHP-iS-G07, the new range of reversible heat pumps, is the perfect solution for any comfort application requiring heating and cooling. Its first-rate efficiency (especially at part loads), extremely low noise emissions and very compact footprint across the range make it the perfect choice for even the most demanding projects. Being optimized for heating operation, it offers a pioneering operating map that enables it to produce as much hot water for comfort heating applications as domestic hot water even at very low outdoor temperatures.

MECH-iS-G07 is the new range of chillers specifically designed to suit both comfort and professional cooling applications, such as cooling in process and IT cooling applications. With the ability to produce chilled water over a very wide temperature range, extremely reliable components, numerous options available, and fully accessible service points, MECH-iS-G07 is an efficient and reliable solution for any process application.

Furthermore, by combining 24/7 cooling reliability with a tailored operating map and configurable mission-critical accessories, MECH-iS-G07 is perfectly suited to the IT Cooling needs of enterprises.

MECH-iS-G07, together with chilled water indoor units dedicated to air conditioning in IT and HPC applications, the patent-pending system optimizer (refricerator + indoor units), is in fact the first fully hydronic IT Cooling package for small and medium-sized data centers, ready to pave the way for the industry's upcoming hydronic transition.

Technical details

.

The new units are available in 7 sizes, developed in 3 compact modules covering a power range from 50 to 110 kW. The optional dual-module configuration extends the capacity up to 220 kW.

The range achieves best-in-class efficiencies and sound levels, while at the same time having one of the most compact footprints on the market: this is possible thanks to the range's powerful technological core.

Mitsubishi Electric's brand new VSD scroll compressors, optimized for R32 refrigerant, ensure high seasonal efficiency, stable water outlet temperature, continuous capacity modulation, and perfect and precise load delivery under all conditions. In addition, the unique proprietary ventilation system combines very high efficiencies with extremely quiet operation under any working condition.

MECH-iS-G07 and MEHP-iS-G07 guarantee the highest quality standards, thanks in part to the adoption of specific Japanese design techniques, such as Kako Tora, which studies and resolves defects found by previous similar ranges, and Poka Yoke, which prevents possible new defects and makes maintenance and service activities as easy as possible. This is done without any compromise in terms of configurability. In fact, many options are available to meet any need: integrated pumps and storage kits, ACS management, different battery treatments, mission-critical equipment, and many smart control functions.

Controls

.

The W3000+ control software, developed completely in-house, provides customers with a unit that meets the specific needs of each HVAC and IT Cooling system, with quick reactions that adapt to different dynamics under all operating conditions.

The package includes many unique features, such as Multi-manager, an innovative LAN-based integrated group control, and the new intelligent coordinated defrost algorithm, and a state-of-the-art user interface, such as the new touch screen control panel, and proprietary KIPLink technology, which enables local and remote control from smartphones, tablets or notebooks.
