LGH-RVS: Mitsubishi Electric's new ducted sensible heat recovery unit for commercial applications

High air quality under the banner of easy installation, high quietness and recovery efficiency
Air quality is one of the main parameters that define the comfort of an environment. Poor air quality in the office or in one's home severely affects productivity, feelings of fatigue, and the healthiness of the environment due to the increased concentration of CO2 in an environment without proper air renewal. To live comfortably, each person needs about 400l of fresh air every hour.
Mitsubishi Electric has a wide range of solutions to ensure proper and efficient ventilation in both the home environment and commercial buildings.
The range is now enriched with the new LGH-RVS ducted sensible heat recovery unit, available in three different sizes of 500, 800 and 1000 m3/h.The new solution allows different needs to be met thanks to its features and different accessories. At the heart of the new model is a counterflow plastic heat recuperator that allows the unit to work with extract air from even high humidity rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens, and in all those applications where due to regulatory restrictions or sanitation requirements the adoption of the paper enthalpy recuperator is not possible.
The unit is designed to be easy to install and to be easy to install.
Ease of installation, high quietness and recovery efficiency are among the key features of this model.
Being lightweight is one of the most important factors for installation.
The lightweight frame of the new recuperator can provide a huge cost and safety advantage in installation. LGH-RVS has extremely low noise emission due to the special sirocco fan manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric coupled with a high-efficiency motor. In addition, the fan inverter motor, designed and manufactured entirely by Mitsubishi Electric, ensures maximum efficiency with minimum energy consumption and allows for modulation of the ventilation flow rate in supply and exhaust from 25% up to 100% (+/- 5% increments/decrements).
The LGH-RVS unit is equipped with a special condensate drain that allows the connection of a single evacuation pipe. Connection to the pipeline is facilitated thanks to the rotating connection system. Finally, thanks to the special design of the new drain system, there will be no need for an external siphon.
The new LGH-RVS comes standard with G3 (Coarse 50%) filters. For a higher level of filtration, F8 filters (ePM1 65%) can be adopted. An optional CO2 sensor connected directly to the unit also allows the air flow rate to be modulated according to the level of carbon dioxide detected in the rooms, improving heat exchange efficiency and contributing to energy savings.
From a control point of view, the new LGH-RVS has native M-NET connectivity thus making it possible to seamlessly integrate the product within a VRF City Multi system as well as directly connect to the AE-200 (or EW-50) centralized control system.
Thanks to the new PZ-62DR-EB advanced remote control, it is also possible to use the unit in a stand-alone configuration.
It is possible to control and monitor the unit remotely through the MelCloud platform. This requires the installation of the optional MAC-587IF-E interface board.
