Mitsubishi Electric respects the environment with 100% green new construction in Bergamo, Italy

Dwellings reflect people's personalities and are the place to return to for comfort. "Home" is often an expression of the dimension between the outside world and the inside. And this is precisely the philosophy behind the new residential complex rising near the center of Bergamo and built by the construction company SouthLake.

The new GAIA residence is part of an urban regeneration project in the Bergamo area that involves the construction of a highly technological and innovative building built according to high energy efficiency criteria. The architecture is developed on four floors above ground, rigorous and elegant lines create a design that is harmoniously linked with the surrounding urban fabric.

The housing structure consists of 24 apartments, 10 two-room apartments and 14 studio apartments, and each residence is characterized by modern architecture and the latest construction technologies, to offer maximum energy savings while respecting the environment and the well-being of those who live there. It is therefore a modern and refined project that guarantees a high level of living comfort.

And precisely because living comfort is at the heart of this new development, SouthLake chose to equip each unit with heat pumps from Mitsubishi Electric. For the Bergamo project, the Ecodan Multi series PXZ range was selected, which, in a single system, offers a combined heating, cooling and domestic hot water system. In cooling they achieve energy class A+++, in heating class A++, and for hot water production class A+. The entire system can be controlled locally and/or remotely via the MelCloud platform.

To each PXZ unit has been connected a Hydrotank tank, of 200 or 300 liters, depending on the needs of the home, an air conditioner from the MSZ-AY series for the sleeping area and ductable indoor units serving the living area.

With a sophisticated design and two super-compact size sizes, a set of innovative features such as Self Clean Mode and Dual Barrier Coating, and a guaranteed high air quality thanks to the built-in Plasma Quad Plus air purification system, MSZ-AY provides an all-around comfort experience.

The SEZ-M discountable units have compact dimensions for installation even in tight spaces. Reduced noise emissions also enhance the livability of rooms.
