Mitsubishi Electric for Giusti Wine: the correct temperature to serve wine
To remedy this situation, Giusti Wine, a winery in the province of Treviso that produces 650,000 bottles a year of prosecco and red wines from the area, has installed an air-conditioning system manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric.
In 2020, work was completed on the new winery, the brainchild of Ermenegildo Giusti, founder and owner of the winery, who wanted a state-of-the-art facility but, at the same time, respectful of the surrounding environment. A winery with almost zero environmental impact. For this reason, the project by architect Guizzo Armando, envisioned an underground cellar, a structure that descends eight meters below ground level and being covered by vines, completely hides tanks and other outdoor equipment, allowing only nature to be admired.
For the winery's air conditioning, Giusti Wine chose solutions from Mitsubishi Electric, which built a system based on two units, a 350 kW heat pump and a 150 kW refrigeration unit, both air-cooled. The refrigeration system produces, stores and distributes fluids to about 80 thermoregulated points and to the air conditioning system of the offices and the product storage room.
