Mitsubishi Electric, committed to the recovery of artistic works and projects, has decided to collaborate with Stradedarts, creator of the Corba - Urban Transformation redevelopment program for the Lorenteggio area, to extend its project "Mitsubishi Electric climatizes art" by now including a wall masterpiece that shares art with citizens creating a sense of belonging.

Corba - Urban Transformation is a project that is transforming 38 facades in Milan's historic Corba - Villaggio dei Fiori neighborhood in Giambellino into urban artworks with a winter sports theme. The 38 facades are equal surfaces and at the end of the creative journey will create an exceptional 'gallery' that is unprecedented in the field of Winter Olympic Sports, a true open-air museum.

The work promoted and supported by Mitsubishi Electric, created by writer ACME 107 translated the concept of sustainability, Olympics and snowboarding by creating a dialogue between the Green world of sports practice and the city of Milan; the evolution of contemporaneity to emphasize the relationship between growth and respect. Visible on Via degli Oleandri, this new example of street art measures 10 meters x 12 meters and was inaugurated today in the presence of Santo Minniti, president of Milan's Municipal District 6, which is sponsoring the initiative.

"The instinct of many young artists to try their hand at this wonderful and fascinating street art represents a free form of expression, without any filter. Our goal is to support and spread these "modern paintings" so that they are accessible to all. With Stradedarts we have found the ideal partner that not only supports the talent of real talents, but also helps to recover an urban space by transforming it into an art path," said Fabrizio Maja, Vice President of Mitsubishi Electric.

"Mitsubishi Electric's decision to give something beautiful back to the city of Milan shows sensitivity and attention to the city. It adds value to the decision to donate this work to a working-class neighborhood like Giambellino, which is in great need of beauty. I thank Mitsubishi Electric, which with this intervention helps us to strengthen the redevelopment of a complex suburb, Stradedarts and the artists who took care of its realization, and Councillor Gaia Romani who supported us to get to this result," commented Santo Minniti, President of Milan's Municipality 6.

"We thank Mitsubishi Electric for supporting our project, allowing us to create a new work of art, our personal Christmas gift, to the neighborhood and the city of Milan," said the president of Stradedarts.
