Mitsubishi Electric builds customized air conditioning for the offices and production processes of Italy's Pagani Automobili

Pagani Automobili is an independent Italian car manufacturer that designs and builds some of the most exclusive hypercars in the world. It was founded in 1998 in San Cesario sul Panaro, just outside Modena, by Italian-Argentine designer and manufacturer Horacio Pagani.

Renaissance inspiration is embodied in the joint development of aesthetic and technological solutions of extraordinary sophistication, guided by relentless scientific research. The goal is to create works of design that express the finest innovations through forms that transcend the boundaries of time. Handcrafted in a creative Atelier, Pagani Hypercars are unique and bespoke pieces of craftsmanship, customizable down to the smallest details, to best reveal the uniqueness of their owners.

For this reason, every single step in the production of these iconic cars follows precise rules, starting with the temperature and percentage of humidity dedicated to each environment.

The air conditioning and cooling system of Pagani Automobili's production plant and offices is based on Mitsubishi Electric units, which are as reliable as they are efficient. Here, then, the rooms in which high-precision numerically controlled machinery is installed, fundamental to the production process of automobiles are punctually cooled by a WSM2 604 Rooftop with summer and winter humidity control, which is flanked by a heat pump from the ME-Series family, MEHP-iS G07 0112, for thermal peak management and punctual dehumidification control through the dedicated water battery installed in the rooftop.

In the metrology room where all the verification operations of the tight tolerances allowed in the artifacts are carried out, close control units branded RC, i-MTR2-G02-M0 O 012 E2, are installed to ensure the maintenance of the correct temperature and humidity value necessary for dimensional verifications. Finally, the air conditioning of the offices is provided by a VRF system, CITY MULTI branded Mitsubishi Electric, which can provide the ideal climate all year round for the more than 250 workers who occupy them.
