Mitsubishi Electric, a world leader in energy-saving and air-conditioning technology, has partnered with Ancorotti Cosmetics to implement innovative and sustainable solutions at the headquarters of the Italian company, a world leader in make-up contracting. Ancorotti Cosmetics, which specializes in the production of mascara with a 20 percent global market share, has relied on the Japanese company's technologies to ensure energy efficiency and environmental comfort in its production and operating environments.

In 2017, Ancorotti Cosmetics embarked on a project to renovate and redevelop the former Olivetti factory in Crema. This historic building has been transformed into a modern, multifunctional facility housing offices, laboratories, production areas and warehouses. Thanks to the partnership with Mitsubishi Electric, the company was able to equip the headquarters with advanced air conditioning systems, making it a virtuous example of sustainability and urban regeneration.

In 2024, Ancorotti Cosmetics inaugurated a new factory dedicated to the production of perfumes, a sector that is expanding rapidly globally. Also in this new facility, Mitsubishi Electric provided state-of-the-art climate management and air purification solutions, contributing to the success of the project.

The partnership between the two companies is based on shared values of sustainability and innovation. The decision to reclaim a brownfield site and transform it into a welcoming and environmentally friendly work environment reflects both companies' commitment to a more sustainable future. The technologies provided by Mitsubishi Electric are a key element in achieving these goals.

For the former Olivetti factory, the Japanese company installed a heat pump air conditioning system designed to reduce electricity consumption and zero local CO2 emissions. Offices and laboratories are served by VRF units, both conventional and with heat recovery. In the new factory dedicated to fragrances, four multi-purpose i-NX-Q/SL/0502P units are operational for production, integrated with three air handling units (AHUs) for air renewal and purification, a crucial element for fragrance processing.

Thanks to this exclusive collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric, Ancorotti Cosmetics continues to distinguish itself as a leader in the cosmetics industry, combining production excellence, technological innovation and sustainability. The project is an example of how strategic partnerships can lead to significant results, benefiting not only the companies involved but also the territory and the environment.
