Born to foster the transformation and urban development of the area, Green Village will represent a relaxed residential dimension close to the services offered by the municipality such as: pedestrian and bicycle paths, sports centers and schools. The basis of the project is the need to create a set of buildings that will enter into relationship not only with each other, but also with the surroundings, characterized by a building with a limited number of floors.

To ensure maximum living comfort for all buildings in the complex, the construction company in charge of the major project, Ester Costruzioni, has turned to Mitsubishi Electric, which will supply the air conditioning systems. The Japanese company will install 66 heat pumps in the residential hub Small Y - PUMY that provide the power and performance of ECODAN systems with the smallest footprint. Thanks to a design that includes a single fan, the Small Y COMPACT unit reaches a height of just over one meter, being visually unobtrusive as well as easy to install and transport, thanks in part to a weight that is 25 percent less than the classic dual-fan configuration. Complementing the air conditioning systems will also be the recessed outdoor Inwall 2.0 solution, which encloses all the components of the central heating, cooling and domestic hot water production unit inside, and which fits well with the contained spaces of newly constructed buildings and Hydrotank, the all-in-one solution that in addition to containing all the safety and plumbing components of Hydrobox integrates a domestic hot water cylinder.

"Each residence, built to the latest technological and energy standards, with its dynamic and versatile environments, is designed to accommodate and make people's lifestyle unique. With the support of Mitsubishi Electric we will be able to offer ideal comfort in full respect of the environment, leaving the owners the freedom to choose the cooling and heating unit they prefer inside," said Giuseppe Caterino, Owner of Ester Costruzioni.

"We are proud to take part in this important project that will rise in a strategic area of the Bologna area. Green Village will provide a living space close to municipal service activities and testifies to the city's commitment to an urban plan that is mindful of its ecological footprint," said Matteo Refosco Business Development Section Manager of Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning division.

Green Village will be completed in the first half of 2024.
