In an age when society's prosperity and development are increasingly linked to rapid technological evolution, data centers take on fundamental importance for the country's growth. Making sure that there are always optimal conditions in these places to best store data is therefore crucial and also involves making sure that there is an appropriate climate.

For this reason, Mitsubishi Electric is sponsoring the 2024 edition of the Datacenter Experience conference, scheduled to take place in Turin on October 22, which will focus on efficiency, security, sustainability and continuity for the new digital business. Among the topics of the conference, we find, in fact, how to increase efficiency and manage rising energy costs, how to support a Multicloud strategy for a modern Hybrid Cloud, Artificial Intelligence for IT service automation, the relationship between datacenter, data protection and security, and between datacenter and environmental sustainability.

During the event, Alberto Bolzonella, Sales National Key Account It Cooling Solution Manager and Marco Filippis, Export Marketing Manager Factory Automation Division of Mitsubishi Electric, will give the talk "The future of data center: AI, Green Cooling and Heat Reuse."

The escalating energy consumption of data centers pushes toward increasingly innovative and efficient solutions. Artificial Intelligence is playing a crucial role in the supervision and management of building management system (BMS) systems, optimizing processes and reducing costs.

In hyperscale data centers, the use of high-efficiency, green chillers is critical to ensure efficient and sustainable cooling. Liquid cooling represents an emerging technology that promises to revolutionize the industry by allowing heat generated by servers to be dissipated more effectively than traditional air systems.

An additional opportunity to increase data center energy efficiency is heat recovery through heat pumps. Heat dissipated by servers can be recovered and used to heat rooms or power other industrial processes, thus helping to reduce primary energy consumption.

"As Mitsubishi Electric, we believe that AI, combined with cutting-edge technologies such as liquid cooling and heat recovery, will offer new perspectives to make data centers more efficient, sustainable and resilient." Said Alberto Bolzonella, Key Account It Cooling and head of the Technical Committee on DataCenter Thermal Recovery in IDA, who added, "We are excited to participate in this event to be able to dialogue with those who work in data centers every day, listen to their needs and study together optimal solutions."

"In order to reduce environmental impact and optimize efficiency in data centers, it is crucial to be aware of the importance of data and how it should be properly collected, managed, analyzed and ultimately used. Thanks to new Artificial Intelligence technologies, Mitsubishi Electric is able to provide a DCIM with advanced capabilities to manage every component of Data Centers in a simple and transparent way."Says Marco Filippis, Export Marketing Manager Factory Automation Division of Mitsubishi Electric.
