CELLIA® Wins ADI GOLD COMPASS AWARD 2024

The interactive façade for more efficient and technological properties is conceived by Progetto CMR and developed with Gruppo Focchi Mitsubishi Electric is a partner in the project "CELLIA®"
Our homes and offices have now become spaces that must offer a quality experience, comfortable places that adapt to climate change by pushing more and more in the direction of sustainability, security and flexibility. It is precisely with respect to all these needs that "CELLIA®" - conceived by Progetto CMR, developed and patented in synergy with the Focchi Group - was born, a new model of interactive façade that is fully customizable in finishes, dimensions and performance levels, entirely manufactured in the factory using advanced engineering systems.
CELLIA® allows the integration, in a single interactive cell, of the climatization and ventilation system, cabling, shielding systems (fixed with vertical/horizontal brise soleil and mobile through technical blinds), and energy production.
For air conditioning, at the prototype stage, the integrated design company Progetto CMR selected Mitsubishi Electric's solutions, which, due to their adaptability, are easily installed in the façade cell. Being able to rely on extreme versatility, CELLIA® with the Japanese company's systems can be adopted in any type of building on both new and existing structures without the need to move the people who live and work there.
It is thanks to the innovation contained within this project, that CELLIA®entered the shortlist of finalists and went on to win the prestigious Compasso d'Oro ADI -an award created in 1954 from an idea by Gio Ponti to enhance the quality of Italian design products-declared by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities of "exceptional artistic and historical interest."
"We are truly honored to have joined this project, which turned out to be so good and cutting-edge that it was awarded the prestigious ADI Compasso d'Oro. By participating in CMR's visionary CELLIA® Project with Gruppo Focchi, we are helping to reshape and boost the construction industry in a whole new way," said Fabrizio Maja, Branch Vice President of Mitsubishi Electric.
